In 1997, we founded our iconic Broome brewery in the WA Kimberley, and to beat the heat, we created Australia’s first alcoholic Ginger Beer because it was just too hot to drink anything else! Yep, that’s right! Often copied but never matched. Known for our laid-back attitude & sense of fun, we’ve always had a creative approach, with the belief that fruit & flavour can enhance refreshment. While our line-up of delicious drinks has expanded, our spirit of discovery remains the same and we’ve now opened our second home, a brewery and distillery on the Sunshine Coast in QLD.

Matso's Mango Beer
In the late 90s, a tropical storm swept through Broome, orchestrating a wild dodgeball game with mangoes as airborne missiles. These fallen Mangoes and the scorching Kimberley heat became the inspiration for creating Australia’s first Mango beer. Today, it’s still made with Australian mangoes, combining real fruit aromas with a subtle sweetness and dry finish. Serve it ice cold with your feet up!
